UNSACCOS TZ LTD is a trusted, member-owned Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (SACCOS) established to provide inclusive and sustainable financial services to its members. The SACCOS was registered on 18th June 2001 under the Cooperative Act of 1993 revised in 2013 and licensed to provide microfinance Services by the Bank of Tanzania. We offer affordable credit, secure savings, and wealth-building opportunities for all members.
We believe in the power of unity and collective responsibility to uplift our members. Our SACCOS is governed democratically, with every member holding a voice and stake in our decisions.
What started as a small initiative to serve a specific group of workers has now grown into a vibrant, diversified cooperative society empowering UN Agencies Staff.
UNSACCOS TZ LTD was formed in response to the growing need for safe, accessible, and ethical financial services among professionals and salaried workers. Over the years, we have evolved from a staff-based savings initiative into a fully-fledged SACCOS registered under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
Since inception, we have remained committed to providing solutions that are responsive to our members’ changing financial goals. Today, our services span across personal development loans, education support, emergency assistance, savings plans, and business financing.
